Hiiii guys!! New to this so havin a fab time goin through all the great ideas and lists etc! Not gettin married til aug 2013 but I know I would love a 60s theme wedding and was wondering if any of u lovely people cud help me out with sum class ideas?? Have seen loads of things on google but to be honest sum can get quite tacky and fancy dress like but I want it 2b classy 60s my h2b loves the era and music fashion and I love the trends hair make up etc! Love the class patterns Paisley print pokka dot etc but not so much hippy style. Love the music beatles, kinks, beach boys etc. Any ideas and pics Wud be much appreciated thank you!! :D Xxx

Congrat for your engage..Wow you got plenty time to organize your wedding. I'm sure you will find loads of fab ideas for your 60s theme.
I've seen polka dot theme somewhere on this forum....go to find for you then i will post it later.

As for other things, I can think of polka dots and some 60's vintage fashion including alot of ribbons bows , coke bottles and alice bands.

Use post cards of Lucy, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis as the place cards or table names.

That's all i can think of... ;)

I think something like "Lace" would look elegant for your wedding reception. You could use lace to decorate your stuff, wedding stationery, wedding table number, favour boxes etc.
i've found loads of photos that i like to share. here we go...
