I am sure you would agree that planning a wedding is a tasking thing for all involved, especially the bride. Support is needed from all sides to ensure a successful wedding. Despite that, I feel that the bride has the final word on all aspects of the wedding, from the theme of the wedding to the dresses that should be won.

Besides, this is her day. One concern is, should the mother of the bride be involved in the planning of the wedding? In my opinion, a mother is an important figure to the bride and she should take part in the planning of the wedding. She can provide the bride with the support she needs to make her wedding a success. Those are my feelings. What about your feelings? A recent survey shows what most mothers of the bride would want. Do you agree with it?

It may be true that most mothers of the bride would like to be more involved in the planning of their daughter’s wedding. This has been shown by a recent survey that was conducted by Marisota Mother Of The Bride, a clothing brand. The survey found out that 40% of the surveyed mothers of the bride wished that they had been more involved in the planning of the wedding.

From the survey, it is clear that being involved in the planning of the wedding improves the relationship between mother and daughter. This is shown by more than half of the mother of the bride surveyed who stated that their relationship with their daughter became stronger than before. Of those surveyed, 54% said that the relationship with their daughter had improved due to their involvement in the planning of the wedding.

Therefore, I feel that daughters should involve their mothers more in the planning of their wedding. This would help to improve their relationships with their mothers. This is shown by the 25% of the respondents who claimed to have had a close relationship with their daughters before the wedding. In comparison, 54% of the respondents had improved their relationship after assisting in the planning of the wedding. The big difference in numbers clearly shows that mothers are important in their daughters planning of the wedding.
