Wedding vows are promises a couple makes to each other during a wedding ceremony.

Your ceremony will follow something similar to this format :-

Declaratory Words

"I do solemnly declare that I know not any lawful impediment why, I, (name) , may not be joined in matrimony to  (name) "

Following by wedding vows

"I call upon these persons here present to witness that I,  (name) , do take thee,  (name) ,to be my lawful husband/wife.

More traditional church wedding vows : can be said in the Church

" I,  (name) , take you,  (name) , to be my husband/wife. I promise to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

" I,  (name)  , take you,  (name)  , to be my lawfully wedded husband/wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow.
