Happy Wednesday ladies! This was such a unique and individual wedding in sunny Palm Springs California. How many weddings do you know pay tribute, in a brilliantly subtle way, to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining as well as having a New Orleans theme?! You might spot the inspired touches with the cufflinks and cake. When it came to the main event, Alex and Kyle made their way to the ceremony area at the foot of the Palm Springs hills with the band playing ‘Black and Tan Fantasy’ as everyone followed in step waving their handkerchiefs in unison. Then there was the ceremony itself which included diverse readings such as the monologue from True Romance by Quentin Tarantino and a passage from ‘Letters to a young poet’ by Rilke. All of this was followed by the coolest of ceremony exits to ‘Down in the Treme’ before the dancing began!
