Sarah and Andy who tied the knot at Highclere Castle in Berkshire last year and some of you might have recognized this spectacular venue as the backdrop for ITV’s very successful period drama “Downton Abbey”. As their Registry ceremony in February was quite an intimate occasion, they wanted to celebrate with a less formal wedding reception and chose a summer fete theme for this.
Taplin’s Place in Hampshire was the perfect backdrop for their wedding and ideal for all the activities they had planned for the day. A lot of the beautiful details was DIY but Sarah also called in the help of an expert – Helen Carter from Helen Carter Weddings who helped her bring all the creative ideas to life!
